Description:

Join WVVA, a Gray Local Media station in Bluefield, WV, as a Media Executive. We’re seeking a motivated, competitive, and goal-driven sales professional who excels at building relationships and delivering strategic multimedia marketing solutions.

In this position, you will be part of a high-performing team that values training, development, and the latest sales and research technology.
We invest in our people — providing training across TV sales, digital solutions, and new business development to help you grow and succeed.

As a Media Executive, you will identify and develop new business opportunities, craft compelling advertising solutions, and guide clients through campaign implementation to help them grow. This is a customer-focused outside sales role.

Duties / Responsibilities
  • Develop creative, results-driven advertising and multimedia marketing campaigns for local businesses.
  • Prospect, qualify, and close new local and digital advertising accounts.
  • Present integrated media plans and solutions tailored to client goals.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team and participate fully in Gray Media's training programs.
  • Maintain accurate client records and achieve sales targets.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and confident presentation ability.
  • Proven customer service orientation and self-starter mentality.
  • Comfortable with technology and basic computer applications.
  • Outside sales experience is a plus.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and ability to pass a motor vehicle records check.
