Customer Service Rep, Bank Customer Service
Position Summary
Provides individualized client service while handling daily transactions, addressing inquiries, and problem resolution, in accordance with Bank policies and procedures.
Responsibilities- Process financial transactions for clients accurately and efficiently.
- Identify client needs uncovered during business interactions and promote products and services, referring clients to appropriate bank colleagues if needed.
- Build client loyalty by establishing relationships and addressing each client by name.
- Consistently deliver exceptional customer service to each client.
- Follow established bank policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Participate in retail sales programs to help meet personal and banking center goals.
- Actively participate in team meetings and community projects and educational programs related to the position.
- Balance cash drawer and assist the banking center team in operational duties (e.g., balancing the ATM, vault, and end‑of‑day work).
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Complete all compliance training related to the position.
- Understand all applicable laws and regulations and comply with requirements.
- One year or more of customer or retail service experience preferred.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- Ability to respond and assist clients with inquiries and problem resolution.
- Customer service and sales oriented.
- Careful attention to detail and time management.
- Good listening, verbal, and communication skills.
- Good PC skills – ability to work in a Windows‑based system essential.
- Ability to cross‑sell bank products and services.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for banking center needs.
- Ability to communicate in another language is a plus.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere.
- Ability to protect confidentiality/privacy of others and company documents and records.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
High School Diploma/GED required.
Travel RequirementsAbility to travel to all locations as needed for meetings, projects, training, seminars, etc.
