The Dot’s Pretzels brand has seen an enormous amount of growth, so we are looking for employees to come be a part of our team in the Bluffton, IN location.

Weekly pay

$500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates

401(k) Retirement Plan

$1000 referral bonus

Paid Time off

12 hours shift: 7pm-7am

Working 3-4 days/week.

This is a 2-2-3 schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off rotation)

Post Offer background check, drug screen, and physical assessment required

Responsible for visually inspecting, monitoring the filling process, manually packing, and stacking finished products, and completing sanitation activities

Maintain the 5’s and GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices)

Visually inspect and manually pack bags of product into boxes

Recognize and report product quality issues

Set up scales for bag, bulk, and/or tote weights

Weigh one bag per case

Understand the information on the lead label

Pallet stack as needed

Pour on rework

Fill out all paperwork completely, accurately, and timely (including first case verifications, daily 5S paperwork, changeover/sanitation paperwork, etc.)

Cover bulk lines and recognize and report bad product

Clean and organize the packing area using approved chemicals and PPE as applicable

Perform shut down, start up, and changeover procedures

Rework product as needed

Must be at least 18 years of age at time of hire

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required

1-month experience or training in related field

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Ability to effectively present information to other employees.

Basic math skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

Frequently required to stand and walk.

Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
