Pay:

  • Weekly pay
  • $500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates

Shift:

  • Monday

Job Summary

Responsible for repairing and maintaining the facilities and grounds to provide a safe, clean working environment for all team members.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of skilled work involving various repair activities including basic plumbing, electric, carpentry, sheet rock, paint, grounds work, etc.
  • Adhere to all established safety regulations and report unsafe conditions to immediate supervisor
  • Repair and maintain the facility and grounds and when required and assist with production and other support related activities
  • Construct, finish, and maintain systems related to the facility and grounds
  • Typical tasks performed would include but not limited to: repair/replace ceiling tiles, move/assemble office furniture, patch minor wall damage, paint and repair/replace wall boards, building painting projects, replace light bulbs in facility, replace filters in air handling units and other office environment tup projects
  • Assist with overall facility 5S Program
  • Assist with other repair type functions when normal job tasks are low.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • 2 years experience in previous or similar position.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
  • Self-supervised and the ability to solve problems and provide timely updates on projects
  • Good mechanical aptitude and the ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interpret basic wiring schematics, office and department layout plans, and mechanical drawings
  • Strong familiarity with carpentry, repair work, and typical handyman skills.
  • Candidate must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Able to lift with both hands and lift overhead with both hands.

  • Agility of both hands and all fingers to push, pull, grasp, touch and feel.
  • Visual acuity and hand/eye coordination.
  • Talk/communicate and hear.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Work environment conditions may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to eye safety glasses, side shields, steel toe or composite toe shoes, hearing protectors and hair nets.
