We are looking for a Metabolic Support Specialist to join our growing team. This role can be based either in our HQ in Bluffton, SC or remote in the Eastern Time Zone (with travel as required).

What You’ll Do

As our Metabolic Support Specialist
, you will report directly to our Head of Customer Experience and play a critical role in shaping how Spiro Fit USA supports, educates, and builds long‑term relationships with its customers. This role sits at the intersection of physiology, technology, and customer experience, supporting a diverse customer base that ranges from elite performance coaches and researchers to clinicians and individuals new to metabolic testing.

The ideal candidate is a self‑sufficient, creative problem‑solver who is eager to deepen their expertise in metabolic testing, thrive in a fast‑growing environment, and help scale world‑class customer support as the company grows.

Customer Success
  • Manage new‑user onboarding and inbound requests via email, Zoom, and other communication channels with clear, patient, and technically accurate guidance.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer support.
  • Support customers in developing mastery of the Spiro Fit product environment via time‑sensitive onboarding, product deployment and training assistance, and education of testing workflows and data interpretation.
  • Conduct proactive customer support and manage assigned accounts and associated support escalation, ensuring timely follow‑up and resolution.
Technical Support
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of metabolic testing principles, best practices, and the full Spiro Fit product ecosystem, including hardware, software, testing protocols, and troubleshooting.
  • Assist customers in understanding test results and translating data into practical, real‑world insights.
Operational Support
  • Utilize Microsoft, Google, and other internal tools to track support metrics, manage workflows, and assist with day‑to‑day operations.
  • Ensure data integrity and organized documentation across all customer interactions.
  • Prepare internal summaries, reports, and updates to support leadership and improve customer experience processes.
  • Learn to navigate and maintain accurate records within the CRM system, including customer profiles, support tickets, documentation, and follow‑ups.
Who You Are:
  • You have formal training in exercise physiology, kinesiology, health sciences, or a related field; a Master’s degree or PhD is a strong plus.
  • You bring 5+ years of hands‑on experience in health, fitness, or human performance environments (required).
  • You hold (or are working toward) respected certifications such as CSCS or CPT through organizations like the NSCA, NASM, ACSM, ACE, or similar.
