Responsibilities and Duties:

Effectively diagnose, solve problems and maintain HVAC systems in both residential and commercial applications along with having a good understanding of indoor air quality products

Repair or service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, in residential or commercial establishments, to improve efficiency

Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks, using pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution

Test electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment

Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring

Effectively explain solutions to customers regarding their needs, while ensuring complete customer gratification on every call

Establish customer rapport to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction

Keep and maintain inventory in your service truck

Keep truck, tools, and supplies organized

Be on-call rotation with other technicians for after-hours calls

Qualifications:

Valid Driver's License

Past experience as an HVAC service technician or comparable education

High school Educations or Beyond

EPA Certification

Experience with operation and maintenance of chillers, heat pumps, air handlers, and geothermal systems

Ability to climb ladders, crawl, and lift 40 pounds

Able to go into hot attic spaces, crawl spaces, stairs, etc.

Outgoing and personable attitude with the willingness to learn and grow
