A day in the life of a Maintenance Technician at Colleton River:

You'll play a vital role in keeping our facilities safe, functional, and beautiful for our members, guests, and team. Each day brings variety as you perform service, installation, and repair work across multiple areas including plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, mechanical, and electrical systems.

You'll work closely with a skilled facilities team and are expected to follow departmental SOPs while consistently applying safe work practices. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, values teamwork, and enjoys hands-on problem solving.

You're willing & able to:

• Perform maintenance, service, and repairs across electrical, mechanical, structural, and plumbing systems
• Complete interior and exterior painting, drywall repair, plastering, and surface preparation
• Maintain and repair doors, windows, hardware, furniture, roofing, ceilings, walls, floors, lighting, carpets, and other building components
• Power wash buildings, walkways, and other club assets as part of regular maintenance duties
• Assist with the setup, breakdown, and movement of event-related equipment as needed
• Inspect and perform minor maintenance repairs in Club Rental Cottages
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and work orders accurately
• Complete assigned work and required documentation in a timely and organized manner
• Demonstrate strong time management skills and a sense of urgency when responding to maintenance needs
• Use tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment safely and efficiently at all times
• Perform routine preventive maintenance following established schedules
• Take initiative to address issues as they arise, while asking for or offering assistance when needed
• Learn new skills, systems, and processes with a commitment to continuous improvement
• Effectively use a smartphone-based work order system after training
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform and grooming standards
• Remain flexible with scheduling to meet business and operational needs
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Director of Facilities Maintenance
• Comply with all service, safety, teamwork, and dependability expectations outlined in the Team Member Handbook

Typical Schedule:

• Full-time:
  Monday - Friday (8:00am - 4:30pm)
• Some weekends as needed

Pay Rate:

$16.00 to $20.00 per hour (Depending on experience)
