As EHS Manager, you will work closely with project leadership, construction teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure safe systems of work are implemented and maintained throughout the full project lifecycle from construction through to commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities Lead all EHS activities across the project site. Develop, implement, and manage project-specific EHS plans and procedures. Ensure compliance with company safety management systems and UK legislation. Oversee RAMS, risk assessments, method statements, and permit-to-work systems. Conduct regular site audits, inspections, and safety performance reviews. Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented. Manage COSHH assessments and control of hazardous substances on site.
Deliver and oversee inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training programmes. Ensure subcontractor compliance with all EHS policies and procedures. Monitor site welfare, housekeeping, and environmental performance. Drive continuous improvement and behavioural safety initiatives. Report EHS performance metrics to senior project and client teams. Requirements 5 years experience in EHS / Health & Safety management roles on large construction projects. Previous experience on Data Centre, Industrial, Infrastructure, or Mission Critical projects preferred.
Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and construction regulations. NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent (essential). Proven ability to manage site safety on large-scale, fast-paced projects. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience managing subcontractors and multi-discipline site teams. Ability to drive a strong safety culture and influence site behaviour. Whats on Offer?
