Our client is a leading turnkey solutions provider delivering major technology projects across Europe. As Senior QS - CSA on their landmark technology project in Blyth, you'll drive financial and contractual performance across the CSA package, playing a key role in maintaining the project's reputation for quality and delivery excellence.
Performance Objectives- Develop and implement comprehensive cost management plans for the CSA package to ensure delivery on budget and on programme
- Lead procurement and negotiation of CSA subcontractor packages, ensuring alignment with company standards and project requirements
- Produce detailed, accurate financial reports and forecasts to support key decision-making
- Monitor project risk and implement mitigation strategies to minimise financial discrepancies
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to resolve contractual and financial issues swiftly and effectively
- Streamline valuations and variations processes to ensure timely approvals and payments
- Mentor and support junior QS staff, contributing to a culture of team growth and excellence
You'll join a dynamic commercial team, reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, with access to leading-edge cost management tools and technologies in a collaborative environment built for career progression.
Essential Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
- 7+ years' QS experience with a strong focus on CSA
- Proficiency in cost management software such as CostX or similar
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement strategy, and cost planning
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholder groups
