Permanent A leading international data centre construction contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join a major data centre project in Blyth. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale, technically complex project with an established contractor delivering mission-critical infrastructure across Europe.

Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate electrical subcontractors and site activities. Review and coordinate technical drawings and documentation. Provide technical guidance to subcontractors and engineering teams. Allocate and prioritise work to meet project programmes. Monitor installation quality and resolve technical issues. Ensure compliance with project specifications and site requirements. Maintain high health and safety standards across site activities. Keep project documentation and technical logs up to date.

Prepare test packs and handover documentation. Identify opportunities to improve site processes, safety and efficiency. Requirements Relevant electrical engineering qualification, ideally a degree. 10 years' experience in a similar role within an M&E contracting environment. Data centre construction experience is essential. Strong knowledge of electrical installation and site coordination. Experience managing electrical subcontractors. Good understanding of health and safety, quality and compliance requirements.

Strong organisational, communication and time-management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Package £70,000–£80,000 basic salary, depending on experience. Accommodation provided. Rotation included. £160 net weekly living allowance. Opportunity to work on a major data centre project.
