We are currently recruiting for an experienced BIM Lead to join a major data centre project in Blyth, Northumberland.
The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for BIM delivery across the project, managing a team of BIM Coordinators and Technicians while working closely with the site team, subcontractors, engineers, package managers and client representatives.

Key Responsibilities
Take overall responsibility for BIM delivery across the project.
Lead and manage a team of BIM Coordinators and BIM Technicians.
Ensure BIM procedures and standards are consistently implemented across the project.
Work closely with the site team, subcontractors and client to ensure BIM requirements are met.
Liaise with package managers and site engineers to coordinate complex MEP installations.
Manage and resolve clashes and coordination issues between disciplines.
Coordinate architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical models.
Produce and review drawings, specifications and schedules in accordance with the project BIM Execution Plan.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior BIM team members and the wider site team.
Monitor BIM deliverables and ensure they are produced in line with project requirements.
Support project coordination meetings and design reviews.
Assist with the development and implementation of BIM processes and technologies.
Contribute to BIM research, development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date BIM information is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
8+ years' experience working across large-scale construction projects.
Strong previous experience in a BIM Team Lead / BIM Manager / Senior BIM Coordinator position.
Excellent Revit experience with an MEP bias.
Strong understanding of MEP BIM coordination.
Experience managing BIM teams.
Strong Navisworks experience.
AutoCAD experience preferred.
Experience with clash detection and resolution.
Experience working on major construction, infrastructure or data centre projects.
Relevant Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, BIM or a related discipline.
Strong understanding of BIM processes, standards and project delivery.
Excellent organisational, communication and time-management skills.
Ability to work effectively with subcontractors, engineers, designers and clients.
Willingness to work on a rotational basis in Blyth.
