Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with a variety of Special Educational Needs.
Assist with differentiated learning activities under the guidance of teaching staff.
Support pupils with personal development, communication and life skills.
Help maintain a positive, structured and nurturing learning environment.
Contribute to behaviour regulation and emotional well-being support.
Follow individual education plans (IEPs), behaviour plans and therapeutic strategies.
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and support staff to meet each child’s needs.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have an enhanced child DBS. (preferred)
Have experience supporting children with SEND (ASD, PMLD, SLD, SEMH preferred).
Be patient, resilient and passionate about working with young people who have additional needs.
Be able to work effectively as part of a team in a specialist school environment.
Show confidence when adapting to students with complex behaviours or communication challenges.
Be enthusiastic, flexible and proactive in meeting pupils’ needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
