Excellent Earning Potential (£38/hour typical lesson rates) Lesson rates average around £38 per hour, supporting strong income whether you work part-time or full-time. You decide when you work — mornings, evenings, weekends, or a full-time diary. Local Work, Less Travel Most instructors teach within 30 minutes of home, typically covering 6–8 postcodes, helping you maximise teaching time and reduce travel.

After passing DVSA Part 2, you are able to apply for a trainee licence, allowing you to begin teaching and earning sooner while completing the final stage of qualification.
