Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Draughts person to support the design, detailing, and configuration of glazing and daylight solutions across a wide range of commercial projects. In this role, you will ensure efficient design workflows from initial tender drawings through to production and on-site delivery.
As a CAD Draughts person, you will collaborate closely with international sales teams and production colleagues to deliver accurate drawings, technical support, and order input into ERP systems. Your focus will include preparing production drawings, interpreting architectural plans, and ensuring project information is maintained accurately within CRM and ERP platforms.

What you’ll be doing :

* Producing high-quality CAD drawings, both standard and bespoke.

* Creating production drawings for glazing panels and project-specific flashings.

* Managing order processes and entering details into ERP and configuration tools.

* Building positive working relationships with sales and project stakeholders.

* Maintaining project data and records within CRM systems.

* Providing design and technical guidance on project enquiries.

* Supporting continual improvement of internal processes and systems.
This role is ideal for a CAD Draughts person who enjoys problem-solving, thrives in a detail-orientated environment, and takes pride in delivering precise, technical work.

Skills & Experience:

* Time Served Engineer or above.

* Proven experience as a CAD Draughts person or similar CAD-based design role.

* Experience of using 2D Auto Cad.

* Ability to read and interpret construction and architectural drawings.
Desirable:

* Experience using ERP or CRM systems.

* Technical understanding of roof construction, façades, or glazing systems.
