** Blyth, Northumberland 6 Month Contract Competitive Rates (DOE) NRL are currently recruiting for an experienced
** HSE Advisor
** to join a
** large manufacturing organisation
** based in Blyth. This is an excellent opportunity to support a fast-paced operational environment, ensuring high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
** The Role
** As HSE Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting site operations with a strong focus on
** Permit to Work (PTW)
** systems, alongside general HSE responsibilities.
Key duties include:
* Managing and overseeing
** Permit to Work systems
** across site activities
* Supporting safe execution of maintenance, engineering, and operational tasks
* Conducting
** risk assessments and method statement (RAMS) reviews
*** Delivering toolbox talks and safety briefings
* Carrying out
** site inspections and audits**, ensuring compliance with company and legal standards
* Promoting a positive
** health & safety culture
** across all departments
* Supporting continuous improvement of HSE processes and procedures
** About You
** To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Proven experience working as an
** HSE Advisor within manufacturing, construction or engineering environments
*** Strong knowledge of
** Permit to Work systems
*** NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
* A proactive and practical approach to health & safety
