TEXO Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Operations Manager on behalf of an established B2B marketing agency based in Blyth
. The Manager will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day delivery and operational performance of the agency. You will be responsible for managing workflows, coordinating resources, supporting project delivery and ensuring effective processes and systems are in place. This is a key operational position within the agency, working closely with senior client services and marketing leadership to ensure the wider team can focus on client strategy, growth and campaigns while delivery is managed efficiently and effectively.
- Oversee the day-to-day operational delivery of client projects and campaigns.
- Manage workflows, schedules, capacity planning and resource allocation.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.
- Coordinate workloads across PR, content, design, digital and web teams.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks, bottlenecks and resource issues.
- Maintain and optimise project management systems, processes and reporting.
- Lead internal planning, scheduling and workflow meetings.
- Develop and improve operational processes and best practice.
- Track delivery performance, utilisation and operational effectiveness.
- Provide regular operational insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure clear priorities, responsibilities and deadlines are communicated across teams.
- Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance and support to the delivery team.
- Help team members prioritise workloads and manage competing deadlines.
- Promote accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Coach and support colleagues to improve performance and effectiveness.
- Contribute to performance reviews, objective setting and development planning.
- Foster a positive, supportive and high-performing team environment.
- Projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a consistently high standard.
- Teams have clear priorities, responsibilities and manageable workloads.
- Project management systems are maintained and used effectively.
- Delivery risks and bottlenecks are identified and resolved proactively.
- Resources are allocated efficiently across the agency.
- Team performance, collaboration and accountability continue to improve.
- Previous experience in operations, delivery, workflow or project management
, ideally within an agency, marketing, communications or creative environment. - Experience managing multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
- Strong resource planning and workload management skills.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
- A good understanding of project management principles and systems.
- Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing or leading teams and promoting accountability.
- The ability to analyse workloads, capacity and performance data.
- A proactive approach to process improvement and operational efficiency.
