Are you motivated by building relationships, spotting opportunities, and driving growth? We are looking for a Business Development Executive to join a dynamic engineering and manufacturing-focused team. This is a flexible role with options for part-time or full-time working.

About the Role

As a Business Development Executive, you will help build and nurture a strong sales pipeline by engaging with target organisations that value collaboration and innovation. You will be responsible for generating new opportunities, managing early-stage sales processes, and supporting account development.

Key Responsibilities

* Identify and research new business opportunities and provide market insights

* Make first contact with decision-makers via calls, emails, and social media

* Develop and nurture accounts through follow-up activities

* Build and maintain strong relationships with potential customers

* Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely and effective actions

* Provide account management support as required

* Maintain accurate records and updates in the CRM system

* Report on account development and pipeline progress

* Support wider sales and business activities as needed

Skills and Experience

* Proven experience in Sales, Business Development, or Telesales, with track record in prospect identification and cold outreach

* Experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment is desirable

* Degree level or equivalent is a plus

* Confident in cold outreach and developing networks of customers and influencers

* Excellent communication skills

* Agile, adaptable, proactive, and customer-focused

* Able to work independently and as part of a team
