Ward Clerk Rotating Night shift 7pm to 7am

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Night Shift Ward Clerk to join our healthcare team. This vital role ensures the smooth operation of hospital or clinic administrative functions during overnight hours, providing essential support to medical staff and patients alike. Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner
  • Manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain and update patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations
  • Answer and direct phone calls, handle inquiries, and relay messages promptly
  • Prepare and process administrative documents, including reports, charts, and correspondence
  • Coordinate with medical staff and departments to facilitate smooth communication and workflow
  • Monitor and manage inventory of office supplies and medical forms
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the reception and administrative areas during night hours

Requirements Skills and

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative or healthcare-related training is a plus
  • Proven experience in administrative support, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in using office software such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and handle stressful situations calmly
