We are looking for an experienced Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech III) to assist the Radiologist in imaging and diagnosing patients. The role includes the following responsibilities:

• Patient communication and preparation, including removal of garments or jewelry that may interfere with the procedure and explaining how the process works.
• Positioning patients properly to obtain x‑rays, CT scans, MR scans, or mammograms.
• Setting the equipment to obtain the best density, detail, and contrast of the area being imaged.
• Taking preventative steps to avoid unnecessary exposure to radiation.
• Applying knowledge of anatomy and physiology in the imaging process to aid diagnosis.
• Following physician instructions, preparing radiography equipment, positioning patients, and obtaining optimal images.
• Communicating calmly, compassionately, and professionally with all types of patients, including elderly, ailing, and handicapped.

• Degree in radiologic technology from an accredited college or university.
• Pass the ARRT certification exam.
• Licensed by the state of Arkansas.
• BLS Certification.
• Knowledge of CT Procedures.
