Registered Registration Clerk (PRN)

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented PRN Registration Clerk to join our healthcare team. This role offers flexibility and an opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our patient registration process. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing excellent customer service and ensuring accurate patient information management.

• Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information
• Register patients into the hospital or clinic’s electronic health record system accurately and efficiently
• Schedule patient appointments and manage appointment calendars
• Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documentation
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow
• Handle inquiries and direct patients to appropriate departments as needed
• Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document management

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare-related certifications preferred
• Prior experience in medical or healthcare registration is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Flexibility to work PRN (as needed) schedule, including evenings and weekends if required
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask
