Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption, usage and ultimately guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

  • Communicating and interacting with guests to build a welcoming guest experience
  • Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns
  • Adapting to different guest interactions and situations
  • Promoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings and services
Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
  • Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks
  • Engage with guests who need assistance to help solve their specific needs
  • Make guests aware of current promos, store activities and events
  • Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues and improve guest experience
  • Thank guests and let them know you’re happy they chose to shop at Target
  • Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed
  • Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with safety standards and best practices
  • Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
  • Understand and show guests how to use features within the Target App, including Wallet
  • Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering; direct guests to enroll, activate and use these features
  • Handle returns per policy and coordinate with leadership to resolve guest needs
  • Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area
  • Stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to assist guests
  • Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance
  • Work safely; comply with safety policies and report hazards
  • Support guest services such as order pickup, Drive-up orders and returns while complying with applicable laws
  • All other duties based on business needs

  • Accurately handle checkout operations and cash office support as needed
  • Ability to scan, move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally
