Akron Children's Hospital invites physicians at various career stages to join a growing pediatric primary care network. ACP brings pediatric care for babies, children and teens to multiple northeast Ohio communities through our 36 pediatric offices. The Boardman office currently has 2 experienced pediatricians and 7+ nurse practitioners.

This is a part-time outpatient opportunity with after-hours call and Saturday office hours shared between providers from surrounding offices. Calls are triaged by an excellent after-hours nurse line, which handles more than 90% of calls. This is a busy, established practice open to both new graduates and experienced providers seeking to develop and grow their practice.

Our offices follow standard hospital-based policies while retaining the local culture of each practice. Physicians have access to EPIC as our system-wide electronic health record. Our primary care offices are PCMH certified, embracing a model of care that centers on patients and strengthens relationships between patients and their clinical care teams.

This position is a 501(c)(3) site eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness through the Federal government.
