ResponsibilitiesAnd Duties
- Responsible for planning within assigned divisions/systems.
- Coordinate monthly capital meetings with operational personnel, track capital, and report to senior management.
- Drive and coordinate the 5‑year capital plan for assigned divisions/systems.
- Design assigned projects (e.g., tanks, boosters, lift stations, WTP projects, WWTP projects, regulating vaults).
- Set up projects in Powerplant and SAP for all assigned projects.
- Maintain communication with permitting agencies and government officials.
- Submit required permits and approvals.
- Review waterline and sewer projects; submit annual reports to Ohio EPA.
- Obtain necessary easements for all assigned projects.
- Handle project design, bidding, contract creation, justifications, and invoicing/accounting efforts.
- Manage construction of assigned projects.
- Approve and process invoices in a timely manner.
- Complete all necessary paperwork needed for accounting to close the project.
- Conduct due diligence on potential acquisitions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required.
- Must be a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio or be able to obtain licensure within an agreed timeframe from hire date.
- Four or more years of experience in water and wastewater is preferred.
- Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills are required, as is the ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects.
