Southwoods Health has openings in the Tri-County area for individuals who are willing to go through our internal training program to work as a Medical Assistant. You will be working in a professional physician office setting, and will be responsible for performing a wide range of skilled administrative and clinical duties. You will work closely with our team of physicians and clinical support staff to facilitate comprehensive, quality patient care.
We are seeking seeking STNA, Phlebotomist, CNA, Pharmacy Tech.
Full-time. Monday-Friday dayshift. No evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities- Room patients in a timely manner utilizing two patient identifiers
- Create a welcoming, friendly, and professional environment for patients and visitors through exceptional customer service
- Obtain and record vital signs, major complaint, medications and allergies in patient chart
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
- Collect various specimens and follow appropriate policies for storing and recording
- Prepare lab specimens in timely manner for transport
- Report and record patient critical lab values, adverse reactions, and pertinent information promptly to physician and team
- Schedule appointments, answer phones, filing, maintain medical records, and other administrative duties as assigned
- 1+ years of experience direct related to patient care, preferred
- Training or courses in computer skills, and medical terminology a plus
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to handle several priorities at once
- Effective organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
- Great degree of flexibility and organizational skill as priorities will change frequently
- Maintain professional demeanor at all times, strong ethical and moral principles
- Previous EMR experience, preferred
- Phlebotomy or STNA not required
