Overview

Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Pain Management at Southwoods Health – Pain Clinic, Boardman, Ohio. Under general direction, the successful candidate will identify, evaluate, and address prevention of diseases while delivering quality care. Communicates with medical staff on consultation, collaboration, and referrals. Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of acute, prolonged, and long-term healthcare issues. Participates in educating patients and families on preventive care, medical issues, and use of prescribed medications and treatments.

Maintains accurate and legible medical records in accordance with state regulatory standards.

• Identify, evaluate, and address prevention and treatment of diseases in the Pain Clinic setting.
• Diagnose and treat acute, prolonged, and long-term healthcare issues.
• Educate patients and families on preventive care, medical issues, and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records and document evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, treatments, prognosis, referrals, education, and consultations per regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with medical staff on consultations, referrals, and care coordination.

• Experience not required; recent graduates welcome to apply.
• Active license in the State of Ohio as a Certified Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse Specialist, or Physician Assistant.
• Active DEA registration.
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA).

• Full-time, Monday–Friday dayshift. No evenings, weekends, or holidays.
