Southwoods Health is hiring a RN to work in Pre-Admission Testing at The Surgical Hospital at Southwoods in Boardman, Ohio. The role gathers clinical information prior to patient procedural encounters, including medical and surgical histories, medications, and current conditions by way of a pre‑operative call. The RN completes the pre‑procedure visit to assess clinical readiness for surgery.

• Maintains patient privacy and ensures confidentiality of protected information
• Collaborates with anesthesia staff to determine patient appropriateness for facility scope and level of care
• Provides comfort and reassurance to the patient and supports the patient’s right to privacy
• Addresses patients’ questions and concerns expressed during the pre‑op call and PAT visit
• Completes and documents phone assessments in the EMR including medication verification, medical and surgical histories, and current clinical presentations
• Performs and documents thorough assessment at the pre‑procedure visit

• RN with active license in the State of Ohio
• AHA BLS certification through AHA
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
• Critical thinking and problem‑solving
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to interpret and accurately document patient information
• Prioritization and time management

Full‑time. Monday‑Friday 7:00am‑3:30pm.
