Medical Technologist & Lab Technician, Clinical Research
Under the general supervision of the Laboratory Manager, performs laboratory testing in various sections of the laboratory, conducts control testing, and initiates troubleshooting steps for issues. The following statements reflect the general duties considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job and are not exhaustive of all work requirements.
QualificationsEducation: A.S. degree in MLT / B.S. degree in Medical Technology, or a degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences with clinical training from an ASCP-approved program.
License/Registration or certification: Registered by ASCP preferred.
Additional skills/abilities: Competency in laboratory technology components, effective verbal communication with patients and clients, numerical calculation skills, and visual acuity for lab tests.
