Tax Accountant Bookkeeper

CPA firm in Boca Raton seeking a Full-Time Tax Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team! An ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in Public Accounting. We seek someone with prior write-up and tax preparation and/or review experience – please provide good work history and references. Please submit your resume and cover letter in PDF format. Responsibilities include:

• Write-up and data entry
• Bank reconciliations, Journal entries, General Ledger
• Preparation/review of monthly financial and accounting reports
• Tax return preparation/review – Corporate, Partnership and Individual
• Trust, Estate and Gift Tax experience a plus
• International tax experience is a plus

Qualifications:

Requirements:
• Strong bookkeeping and accounting skills
• Capability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Additional hours are required to meet IRS tax deadlines quarterly and during tax season
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Software proficiency:
• Quick Books Online and Quick Books Desktop
• Creative Solutions – Ultra Tax
• Creative Solutions – Accounting CS is a plus
• Lacerte (a plus)
• Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Outlook
• Doc-it / Safesend is a plus
