GRUBBRR is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations. This Senior Accountant will be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day activities of the accounting department, including accounts receivable and accounts payable, reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining the general ledger, and assisting in the month-end close procedures. Must have excellent analytical skills and a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts in our fast-paced Fin Tech startup.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for preparing and processing the monthly billing to customers and interacting with Customer Support to address any billing issues or customer concerns.Update and maintain revenue tracking reports and prepare monthly and annual recurring revenue reports.Process daily accounting functions including invoicing, vendor payments, expense reimbursements, and ACH payments.Reconcile inventory monthly and update inventory tracking reports.Record monthly reconciliation on revenues, expenses, and intercompany activity.Prepare monthly commission reports for sales representatives based on compensation plans and performance.Participate in the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and research of unusual items.Prepare ad hoc reports and participate in special projects. Manage and reconcile income and expenditure accounts, bank and credit card statements.Assist in the preparation of financial statements and compliance reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.Participate in annual audits, providing account information and responding to auditors' questions.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Experience with SaaS Revenue Recognition Rules and in the SaaS industry.Disciplined in following processes and creative in building scalable approaches.Thorough understanding of accounting principles and regulatory reporting requirements.Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlines.Excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.5-7 years of professional accounting experience.Experience with Quick Books / Net Suite preferred.About GRUBBRR:
