Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a manufacturing organization in Boca Raton, Florida on a Contract basis. This position supports day-to-day receivables activity while also assisting with selected payables and account reconciliation tasks. The ideal candidate brings strong Excel capability, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to manage payment-related issues in a busy environment with professionalism and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Generate and distribute customer invoices while maintaining accurate billing records and supporting timely payment processing.

• Monitor outstanding balances, follow up on commercial collections, and communicate with customers to resolve past-due accounts professionally.

• Apply incoming payments, track daily cash activity, and ensure transactions are posted correctly within the appropriate financial systems.

• Reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable balances, investigate discrepancies, and resolve variances efficiently.

• Coordinate vendor payment activity, including payment gateways, wire transfers, and other customer and supplier payment workflows.

• Prepare and analyze spreadsheet reports using advanced Excel functions such as pivot tables and lookup formulas to support financial visibility.

• Maintain organized documentation and ensure a high level of accuracy across billing, collections, and reconciliation activities.

• Work across priorities in a fast-paced setting, adjusting to changing needs while communicating clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
