Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support
  • Process tax returns using the e‑filing process
  • Scan and organize documents in SharePoint and Go File Room
  • Cultivate relationships and maintain contact with company clients
  • Function as a backup for other Administrative Assistants within the group and support other team activities as directed
  • Handle incoming calls proficiently and follow through regarding issues raised with appropriate parties
  • Develop a good working relationship with all levels of staff
  • Handle sensitive/confidential information requiring a high level of discretion
Desired Qualifications
  • Relevant experience supporting executives in a professional services environment
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written including excellent grammar and proofreading abilities
  • Excellent technology skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and interest in learning additional software packages as needed
  • Tax program knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to develop own processes and follow through with them
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and decision making
  • Ability to anticipate problems and act accordingly
  • Time management skills – ability to prioritize and multi‑task
  • Ability to take initiative, be assertive and maintain confidence
  • Professional demeanor
  • Organizational skills and detail‑oriented nature
