Overview
Pine Tree Camps at Lynn University is an American Camp Association accredited day and overnight camp in Boca Raton, Florida. Pine Tree Camps promotes growth and fun in an environment committed to the latest standards in health and safety. Programs for campers ages 5 to 14 range from traditional skill-building camps to sports camps, overnight camps, and camp counselor training programs.
Kampus Kampers is Pine Tree Camps sleepover camp for children ages 6 to 13 with a camper-to-counselor ratio of 5-1, staying on Lynn University s campus Monday through Friday, and including meals and daytime programming as well as evening activities.
Daytime (8:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) – position depends on qualifications.
- Group Counselor: supervise a group of 16 children (ages 5–14) with a co-counselor; rotate with other groups daily.
- Lead and monitor activities, resolve conflicts, ensure the schedule is followed, and help campers feel part of the group.
- Lead games and assist at activities; ensure each group has a counselor to supervise swimming with campers as required.
- Instructors: supervise groups of about 16 campers (ages 5–14) as they rotate through activities.
- Pool staff: alternate lifeguarding, swim instruction, and monitoring water activities.
Nighttime (3:00 p.m. to 8:45 a.m.)
- Share a room with other activity assistants and help set up and serve meals/snacks.
- Alternate supervising free choice by taking campers to participate in a 1-hour activity; assist with night activities and field trips.
- Ensure campers are safe, help resolve conflicts, recognize campers who are sick, sad, or self-conscious, and cover for any room counselor as needed.
- Work as a Room Counselor as needed.
- Candidates must be at least 19 years old.
- Completed 1 year of college.
- Experience caring for children.
- Available for all 9 weeks of camp plus a week of camp training; 5/26/26 – 7/31/26.
- Work from 7:30 a.m. Monday through 6:00 p.m. Friday, weekends off; includes an hour and a half break each day.
- Room and board provided.
