We are in search of a seasoned Permanent Commercial Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of commercial construction projects from planning to implementation. This role involves managing a variety of tasks such as project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. The ideal candidate should be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on tight deadlines.

• Oversee and direct commercial construction projects from conception to completion.
• Review the project in depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
• Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
• Meet contractual conditions of performance.
• Review the work progress on a daily basis.
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
• Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
• Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction management.
• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
• Competent in conflict and crisis management.
• Excellent time and project management skills.
• Strong knowledge and experience with project management software like Primavera.
• Proven experience managing commercial projects.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office and project management software.
• Proficient in English.
• PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
