Position OverviewThe Superintendent/Foreman role is responsible for overseeing on-site execution of commercial exterior façade and glazing work. The position manages daily field operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The Superintendent/Foreman serves as the primary field lead and point of coordination for all façade-related activities on the jobsite.
Scope of Work and Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate installation of curtain wall, window wall, storefront, and architectural window systems
- Direct field crews and subcontractors while managing site logistics and material flow
- Plan work sequencing and coordinate closely with general contractors and other trades
- Enforce safety policies and conduct daily jobsite meetings and field inspections
- Review shop drawings and installation details to ensure proper execution and quality control
- Identify and resolve constructability, scheduling, and field-related challenges proactively
- Support inspections and ensure compliance with project requirements and local building codes
- Strong working knowledge of unitized and stick-built exterior envelope systems
- Experience working on South Florida commercial projects preferred, including familiarity with wind-load and code requirements
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple crews while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and professionalism
