Junior Interior Designer – Business of Home (Hubley Design Interiors)

Join the highly regarded interior design firm based in Palm Beach County and New York.

We are looking for a sharp, extremely organized, driven, self‑starting Junior Designer to assist the lead designer and studio team in a fast‑paced environment.

• Support or collaborate with lead designer/studio team on concept development, mood boards, and presentation materials.
• Research, source and coordinate FF&E selections, including materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, hardware, and accessories.
• Translate design concepts into detailed AutoCAD plans, elevations, and millwork drawings.
• Assist with site activities: measurements, documentation, installations, showroom visits, and construction site coordination.
• Produce client‑facing presentations and design documents in both digital and physical formats.
• Attend and take an active role in client meetings; take detailed notes and follow up on action items.
• Contribute to studio organization and efficiency, including errands, library upkeep, and team support.
• Play an active role in delivering elevated and thoughtful client experiences throughout the design process.
• Answer phones, take messages, and notify others of messages as needed.
• Ensure cleanliness of the office; the studio is also a client meeting location and place for sale of accessories.

• Microsoft Office – especially PowerPoint.
• AutoCAD.
• Rendering software.
• Proficient with current social media platforms.
• Beneficial to have knowledge of Canva.

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design, interior architecture, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in a design studio, preferably high‑end residential.
• Knowledge of wholesale vendors, goods resources, and their various price points.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Design‑forward thinking.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professionalism in client and vendor interactions.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and resourceful with ability to anticipate next steps.
• Comfortable traveling to showrooms, client homes, and construction sites.
