The Ministry Assistant plays an integral role in supporting the SRC Middle School Coordinator and the SRC Middle ministry. This role requires the ability to build systems, plan events, pay attention to detail, remain flexible with plans, and work well with people. This role is part relational and part operational. This is an in‑person, part‑time, on‑site position working 15 hours per week.

A background screening and drug screening are required for all candidates offered employment.

• Help develop and carry out the vision of the Middle School ministry
• Attend SRC Middle Campus Night on Wednesdays, and SRC Worship and Coffee Hour on Sundays.
• Lead set‑up of Campus Night including rooms, parking lot, and slides
• Serve as one of the teachers at Middle School Campus Night as a means of leading students to Christ, and growing students in Christ.
• Build, maintain, and train volunteers and students, equipping them for the work of ministry
• Lead small groups as assigned by MS Coordinator
• Develop discipleship relationships with the students and their families, leading them to engage more deeply with Christ, and have a greater commitment to the church
• Support any and all administrative duties as requested and work with SRC Middle Admin Assistant to insure all details are executed
• Assist in leading students on weekends and camps for Student Ministry, acting as a spiritual mentor, deepening Christ‑centered relationships, and supervising trips
