FT Educator/Docent for Traveling Holocaust Exhibit
Position Title: Full Time Traveling Educator Docent
Start Date: Sunday, Oct 3
Classification: Contractor
Staff Directing This Role: Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer
Organization Overview
Hate Ends Now is a nonprofit Holocaust education initiative that uses a replica WWII-era cattle car that Nazis used to transport their victims as a mobile classroom along with a collection of original Holocaust artifacts.
Our immersive exhibit travels across the country, primarily in FL, MA, NJ, and NY reaching over 30,000 people of all walks of life each year with a primary focus on high schools.
Position Overview
You’ll help groups prepare for and process a short video presentation inside a replica cattle car, then lead them through a 30-minute artifact tour that brings history to life.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys traveling, teaching, and connecting with people and is passionate about history, education, and making a difference. The goal isn’t just to teach history, it’s to help young people think critically about the world they live in, and to reflect on their roles and responsibilities within it.
We provide training and a script. No prior Holocaust knowledge is needed. If you’re a clear communicator who cares about making a difference, this is a meaningful and impactful way to do it.
