We’re looking for a Research Trainer to join our team. The Research Trainer is responsible for delivering training programs to new hires within the PSA Research Department. This role focuses on administering curriculum‑based training, providing metric‑based feedback to trainees, and contributing to the development of training materials. The Research Trainer supports the team’s overall mission to ensure the Research department is properly equipped to identify trading cards, including sports trading cards, non‑sport trading cards, and Trading Card Games (TCGs), as well as research unknown sets across vintage and modern collections.
You’ll report to the Research Quality and Training Manager and work from our Boca Raton, FL office. Onsite Requirement:
This role requires you to be onsite in the office 5 days per week.
- Administer training using established curriculums and provide metric‑based feedback to trainees
- Provide curriculum feedback to support continuous improvement
- Assist in curriculum development initiatives
- Assist in workshop development, including quarterly workshops
- Assist in the creation of ad hoc guides and One Point Lessons (OPL)
- Support intra‑departmental training efforts, including dual grade service and pack service
- Support inter‑departmental training efforts, including Grading, Sealing, and V2 training
- Assist in creating and updating training curriculums
- Support company expansion at new offices, with some travel possible
- Participate in other duties as assigned to support the Research Training Team
- 1+ years of Research Department experience required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and metric‑based assessments
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and learning management systems preferred
