Contract Manager

PEC is an international technology supplier, committed to enable the production of green batteries for a Blue Planet. We are looking for a Contract Manager to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is based at our Budapest Office, located in Hungary. By joining us, you will contribute to building the first large scale battery factories in Europe, Asia and the United States.

As a Contract Manager you will be working for the Contract Managing Department, which is mainly responsible to manage the working relationships between our main customers, global employees and critical suppliers, in order to guarantee an on-time delivery, outstanding quality and cost within budget.

Your activities and responsibilities include:

• Ensure that our projects are carried out in accordance with established specifications, schedules and budgets
• Preparation and follow up on orders with critical vendors
• Follow up of the internal PEC planning with the different teams involved
• Initiate and follow-up of the billing and customer payments

• A master degree in (Mechanical or Electrical) Engineering with a strong interest in business and technology
• 5-10 years of experience in the engineering field
• The ability to deal with clients and suppliers with rapidly changing priorities and timelines
• An analytic mindset and excellent negotiating skills
• An organized and structured working attitude
• The flexibility to travel to customers on a regular basis
• Excellent communication in English, other languages (E.g. German) are a plus
