Water Resources Project Engineer

H2M architects engineers, a multidiscipline architectural, engineering, and environmental consulting firm has expanded in Florida and is seeking Engineers with experience designing Water Resources, Stormwater, and / or Wastewater systems to be a part of this exciting venture and join our growing team.

This position will have exposure to a variety of projects covering the full project life cycle from feasibility studies through design to construction and O&M, including:

• Drinking Water: source of supply, treatment, storage, and distribution projects
• Wastewater: collection, conveyance, and treatment processes, during schematic design, detailed design and design services during construction phases of projects.
• Civil / Site: site layout and design, including site grading and storm drainage, roadway design, water and sewer infrastructure, erosion and sediment control.

Engineers who join our team will be expected to:

• Uphold the highest commitment to technical excellence, performing details engineering calculations & analysis
• Lead development of construction documents (plans and specification)
• Meet established budget and delivery schedules
• Coordinate execution projects with other engineering and architecture departments within the firm.
• Preparation of construction drawings and specifications for public bid.
• Build internal and external client relationships

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Environmental/Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline
• 5-7 years of related consulting and design experience.
• Strong client relations and technical writing skills
• Ability to mentor and supervise junior level staff.
• PE highly desired

The salary range for this role is $80,000 – $130,000 annually. The employment offer may deviate from this published range based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, specialty, knowledge, education, geography and/or related certifications — not related to any applicant’s characteristics protected by local, state or federal law.

The salary or hourly rate indicated does not include other forms of compensation or benefits.
