Job DescriptionCDM Smith is looking for a Summer 2027 Intern to join our Program Services team! In this role, you will gain hands‑on experience supporting water and wastewater treatment and conveyance projects. This internship provides an opportunity to learn from experienced professionals while contributing to field and project activities that support the operation and maintenance of critical water infrastructure.
Under direct supervision, the intern may:
- Support basic operations and maintenance (O&M) activities for water and wastewater treatment and conveyance systems, collection systems, and related facilities.
- Assist with field activities, routine inspections, data collection, and documentation to support project needs.
- Gain exposure to groundwater and industrial waste treatment, hazardous waste management, pilot plant studies, and sludge handling and treatment processes.
- Work with project team members to complete assigned tasks and develop an understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes and infrastructure.
Enrolled in a Bachelors program is required.
