Our client is looking for a talented Senior Controller to assist management in maintaining the organization's financial health and supporting its long-term financial objectives. You will play an important role in a world-class reporting team by promoting collaboration, innovation, and business expertise
Responsibilities- Prepare periodic, quarterly, and annual internal financial statements and other support for meetings with management
- Review and analysis of financial statements and metrics
- Help prepare consolidated financial reporting journal entries and deliverables on a periodic, quarterly, and annual basis
- Perform analysis, make recommendations, and participate in discussions pertaining consolidation and reporting matters
- Identify process improvements and lead several efficiency projects
- Support decisions with financial information and analysis
- Participate in other projects and ad-hoc analyses and reports
- Assist with cash forecasting and monitoring to ensure working capital needs are met
- Assist with month-end closing of books
- Create revenue recognition rules according to ASC 606
- Assist with designing a functional chart of accounts
- Other duties as assigned
- MBA, additional certifications are a plus (CPA, CFA, CMA)
- Experience with Netsuite a plus
- High level of professionalism, confidence, and discretion
- Superior process, project, time, and change management skills
- Exceptional intuition with the ability to proactively anticipate needs
- Independent decision-making capabilities with strong judgment
- Great organizational skills and logical thinker who can prioritize and pivot quickly between tasks while retaining and synthesizing information
- Ability to work calmly under pressure while maintaining meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- The persistence to ‘breakthrough walls’ to solve problems
- Basic technological proficiency required, advanced proficiency preferred; willingness to learn a wide range of new technologies and applications
