General Financial Control is responsible for directing the organization's accounting functions and areas of focus include:
- Accounts payable, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
- Developing and maintaining planning and budgeting systems, the preparation of financial and management reports and procedures, and the presentation of findings and specific recommendations to senior management.
- Analyzing and interpreting trends requiring management's attention.
- Duties may also include training and managing other accounting staff A Management 3 manages experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments.
- Responsibilities typically include:
Policy and strategy implementation for short-term results (1 year or less). - Problems faced are difficult to moderately complex.
- Influences others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices and procedures.
- CPA required.
- Travel to San Jose, CA to secondary office required 25%
