The Encore at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is looking for a talented and hard-working PT to join their ever-growing team. Today, under new ownership, we are creating an inimitable, revitalizing Rehabilitation Environment to provide the short term patient with a luxurious, five-star experience that meets and exceeds all expectations.

The Physical Therapist is responsible for the assessment of referred patients that require rehabilitation services, provides patient treatment that meets patient needs, uses current treatment knowledge in accordance with clinical procedures. Writes accurate complete and clear documentation in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payor and accrediting requirements. Responsible for overseeing and supervising Physical Therapy Assistants.

• FL licensure required
• Degree in PT from an accredited PT Program
• Knowledge of PT evaluation and treatment techniques
• Understand the principles of physical modalities in PT
• Knowledge of use of prosthetic devices, ambulatory aides, assistive and resistive devices
• Ability to write specific objective documentation that is outcome orientated, detailing patient needs, potential to benefit from treatment and progress.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in geriatric rehabilitation, adult neurological, cardiac or general rehabilitation preferred

Shift Needs: Part Time, Full Time & Per Diem.
