Provides a variety of ultrasound procedures on all age groups served by the entity. Safely ensures quality images. Participates in the department continuous quality improvement process. Ensures customer satisfaction and appropriateness of care for all assigned patients.

Degrees:

• High School, Cert, GED, Trn, Exper.

Licenses &

Certifications:

• ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Breast Specialty.
• ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Ob/Gyn.
• ARRT Registered Technologist – Vascular Sonography.
• CCI Registered Vascular Sonographer.
• ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Abdomen.
• Basic Life Support.
• ARDMS Registered Vascular Technologist.
• ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.

Additional Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Ultrasound Technology or Radiologic Technology.
• Six months experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Active ARDMS certification in at least 3 specialties, 2 of which must be related to department clinical needs and 1 of which must be RVT or RVS or RTVS specific.
