About the Role:

The ADC Attendant PT - GIPB plays a vital role in providing compassionate and attentive care to individuals within the social assistance setting at Yamato ADC. This position focuses on supporting clients with their daily activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well‑being throughout their time at the facility. The attendant will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to implement personalized care plans and respond promptly to the needs of each individual.

By fostering a respectful and supportive environment, the attendant helps enhance the quality of life for clients and promotes their independence whenever possible. This role requires a dedicated professional who is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable populations through empathetic and reliable service.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a caregiving or attendant role within a social assistance or healthcare setting.
• Basic knowledge of client care principles and safety protocols.
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and team members.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of a formal caregiving training program or relevant certification.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs.
• Familiarity with documentation and reporting procedures in social assistance environments.
• Proficiency in a second language relevant to the client population served.
• Additional certifications related to elder care or mental health support.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, mobility, and meal assistance.
• Monitor and report any changes in clients’ physical or emotional condition to the supervisory staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment within the facility to promote client well‑being.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, encouraging social interaction and engagement.
• Collaborate with healthcare and social service professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care delivery.
