Position SummarySanctuary Medical Aesthetic Center is a well‑established, luxury medical spa dedicated to providing the highest level of care in dermatology, aesthetics, and wellness. We are introducing a cutting‑edge Functional Medicine and Hormone Optimization Program to complement our existing services. As a Functional Medicine Practitioner, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat clients seeking optimized health, longevity, and balance, playing a key role in developing and delivering individualized wellness plans that may include hormone replacement therapy (HRT), weight management medications, peptide therapy, nutritional guidance, and hair restoration treatments.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct in‑depth consultations to assess patient health history, lifestyle, and goals.
- Order, interpret, and explain advanced functional and specialty lab tests (e.g., hormone panels, micronutrient testing, gut health, metabolic testing).
- Develop individualized treatment plans that may include:
- Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT)
- Weight loss protocols, including GLP‑1 medications (Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, etc.)
- Nutraceutical and supplement recommendations
- Dietary and lifestyle interventions
- Administer and manage hormone replacement therapy (bioidentical and traditional options).
- Evaluate and prescribe appropriate weight loss medications (e.g., GLP‑1 agonists) within established protocols.
- Collaborate with aesthetic and clinical staff to incorporate hair restoration therapies and other wellness services.
- Educate patients on preventative health strategies and long‑term wellness optimization.
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing patient response and follow‑up testing.
- Collaborate with other medical spa providers (aesthetic nurses, NPs, RNs, nutrition coaches) to create a holistic wellness experience.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA and state regulations.
- Stay current with the latest research and trends in functional, regenerative, and aesthetic medicine.
- Participate in marketing, educational workshops, and community events to promote wellness services.
- Licensed Medical Doctor (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA) with appropriate state licensure.
- Certification or advanced training in Functional Medicine (e.g., IFM, A4M, or similar) preferred.
- Experience in hormone replacement therapy, peptide therapy, or integrative wellness strongly desired.
- Knowledge of weight loss medications (GLP‑1s, phentermine, etc.) and associated patient management.
- Excellent communication, patient education, and interpersonal skills.
