Activities Assistant | Senior Living Activities

• Assist in leading daily activities, events, and enrichment programs
• Encourage and support resident participation
• Help prepare activity calendars and newsletters
• Escort residents to and from programs as needed
• Maintain organized activity spaces and supplies
• Support volunteer engagement and community partnerships
• Document participation per regulatory guidelines
• Monitor resident engagement and communicate changes appropriately

• High School Diploma/GED
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to lead small group activities
• Valid driver’s license (as applicable)
• Senior living experience preferred

Pay Range: 15.00 - 18.80

In addition to base compensation, Sunrise may offer discretionary and/or non-discretionary bonuses. The eligibility to receive such a bonus will depend on the employee’s position, plan/program offered by Sunrise at the time, and required performance pursuant to the plan/program.

Summary of HB 531 https://www.flsenate.gov/Committees/Bill Summaries/2025/html/531 The bill requires the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA), in consultation with all specified agencies, to develop and maintain a user-friendly, public-facing webpage to serve as a centralized hub for education and awareness of the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse and state background screening processes and standards. The webpage must maintain up to date information and explain the background screening process through the clearinghouse, Level 2 screening requirements, fingerprinting procedures, and include a searchable job catalog, disqualifying offenses, exemption steps, and a downloadable checklist with timelines and details of the process.
