About the roleThe AI Finance Manager is a key contributor to EY's data management strategy for finance applications. You will partner with finance, IT, and data science teams to design and deploy finance data models, data governance, and AI-driven solutions.
YourKey Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of complex technical initiatives related to finance application data.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver system architecture solutions.
- Drive continuous process improvement through research and analysis, including ML and Gen AI integration.
- Support the execution of EY's Data Management Strategy for finance applications.
- Collaborate across services (Finance, Managed Services, Tech Consulting) for data alignment.
- Define data requirements, architecture, and models, and design an extensible common information model.
- Develop and maintain documentation: data dictionaries, ER diagrams, data lineage.
- Implement the FDL Blueprint solution offering with scalability, performance, and security.
- Partner with data scientists to apply Machine Learning and Gen AI to finance applications.
- Maintain robust data governance framework.
- Bachelor’s degree with ~5 years of related experience, or graduate degree with ~4 years.
- Minimum 4 years in data management, including 1 year focused on finance application data and modeling.
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and master data management.
- Experience with Machine Learning techniques, Gen AI, and Azure data services (Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, MS SQL, Python).
- Knowledge of finance application modeling (PnL, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Proficiency in data integration, transformation, and modeling tools.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and support emerging technology adoption.
- Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field with finance data management, ML experience.
- Competitive base salary range: $142,600–$261,500 (US), with higher ranges for NYC, Washington, CA.
