The Senior Manager of Data Analytics & BI will lead a high-performing team of data professionals. This role requires a strong leader with a deep technical background, sharp business acumen, and a passion for leveraging modern AI technologies to drive business outcomes. The individual will partner with cross-functional teams to design data-driven strategies, develop scalable analytics solutions, and enhance BI capabilities to support decision-making at all levels.

Ideal candidate can be remote or hybrid from our Dayton, OH, Boca Raton, FL or Alpharetta, GA offices for onsite meetings as needed.

• Leadership & Strategy:
  Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data analysts and BI developers; set clear performance goals, provide coaching, and support career development; foster a culture of curiosity, innovation, and continuous improvement; define and execute analytics projects aligned with organizational goals and enterprise-wide strategic initiatives and programs; foster a data-driven culture across the organization through stakeholder engagement and data literacy initiatives;
  
  navigate a matrixed organization to collaborate with stakeholders, sponsors, and executive leadership to define KPIs and reporting standards.

• Technical Execution:
  Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data models, dashboards, and reports using BI tools (SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Git Hub); ensure data quality and integrity through data governance; partner with business and operations teams to build scalable data pipelines and optimize data infrastructure; collaborate with Enterprise Data Management to ensure governance, security, and quality; lead integration of diverse data sources to create a unified analytics environment.

• Business Acumen:
  Integrate diverse data sources to create a unified analytics environment; appreciate how each team contributes to business performance; understand interdependencies and process flows across departments; identify and resolve cross-functional bottlenecks; translate complex data insights into actionable business strategies; provide analytical support for initiatives including revenue growth, customer retention, and operational efficiency; identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and risk mitigation;
  
  knowledge of Salesforce, Service Now; connect data insights to business strategy and ROI; work across functions such as product, market planning, sales, operations, product implementation, and finance; demonstrate exceptional business acumen and stakeholder engagement.

• AI & Innovation:
  Leverage advanced analytics and AI/ML to uncover patterns, predict outcomes, and automate decision-making; lead integration of diverse data sources to create a unified analytics environment; evaluate and implement new AI technologies and tools (e.g., generative AI, LLMs, Databricks and Data Genie) to drive innovation and efficiency; stay abreast of trends in data analytics and AI and guide adoption where relevant.

• 8+ years in analytics leadership roles with experience managing cross-functional data teams
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive data-driven decisions
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Expert-level SQL for complex querying, data modeling, and ETL
• Strong command of data modeling and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Big Query, Azure Synapse)
• Strong understanding of business operations, KPIs, customer and financial metrics
• Ability to connect data insights to business strategy and ROI
• Experience across functions such as product, market planning, sales, operations, product implementation, and finance
• Exceptional business acumen and experience working with cross-functional leaders
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to influence stakeholders
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML tools and frameworks (e.g., Copilot Analyst/Researcher, Databricks/Data Genie)
• Familiarity with GenAI and LLMs (e.g., OpenAI) and how they can be integrated into business workflows
• Understanding of responsible AI principles and data ethics
• Advanced Python skills for data analysis, modeling, and ML
• Experience applying statistical modeling and machine learning
